Final Project (Revision)

After shooting a series of photos I noticed they were not as cohesive as I had hoped. Most of my photos are longshots of the library however, one photo I chose for its clarity and shallow depth of field does not fit although, I think it is a really good image and I want to include it in my series. To fix this problem I will continue to shoot while focusing on small details and shallow depth of fields. Hopefully these changes will help to integrate the image as well as add variety and broaden the aim of my series.

Photography Final (Proposal)

For my final portfolio I would like to continue my place series in the library, with a focus on patterns and rhythm to create spacial illusions. However I would like to feature multiple libraries which is why I would like the photos to be black and white in order to unify them. I believe that the varying colors and light within each library would an disjointed mood. I believe having all the photos be in black in white will unify them as well as force the viewer to focus on the formal qualities of the series.
